Aquatec DDP 5800 Pump: Match Voltage, Ports and Pressure

The current WindowCleaner.com offer gives a buyer four useful facts: 12VDC, 100 psi, 1.4 gpm open flow and 3/8-inch FPT ports. It also gives the seller SKU, 326-25-02. What it does not publish is the complete Aquatec manufacturer part number.

That omission matters because “Series 5800” is not one fixed pump. Aquatec’s current document index lists several 5800 voltage and flow families, and its 12V specification sheets use variable part-number positions for pumphead, pressure control and ports.

Before choosing a curve, controller or power protection, ask the seller for a readable photograph of the pump label and the complete Aquatec part. If the label cannot be matched to a current Aquatec sheet or written manufacturer support, hold the order.

The live offer stops one field short

The current seller page closes the sales bundle, not the manufacturer configuration. Keep both records; do not let either stand in for the other.

The seller offer needs one complete Aquatec label before its specifications can share a row

1.4 gpm open flow Seller headline with little discharge resistance Flow at the route’s intended discharge pressure It cannot be placed beside 100 psi as one operating point
3/8-inch FPT ports and two named XERO fittings Seller’s physical bundle Actual pump ports, seals and the full adapter stack The included fittings do not prove both route endpoints
Demand and delivery modes Seller’s operating description Exact pressure switch, bypass or external-controller contract Valve-closure behavior remains model-specific
Blank pump nameplate and configuration choices linked to a holding tank, 12-volt power controller, hose reel and water-fed pole route
The exact pump label has to travel with the complete delivery route; this is not an Aquatec product rendering.

The current WindowCleaner.com Aquatec Delivery Pump page owns the seller facts in the table. The missing part number is not permission to assemble one from the closest manufacturer sheet.

The part number chooses the table

Aquatec’s current 12VDC 1.0 GPM sheet uses the family template 58XX-XX01-B744. It describes four pumpheads, three pressure-control choices—no control, pressure-switch control or pressure relief—and pressure-switch codes from 30 through 130 psi. Its open-flow range is 0.69 to 0.98 gpm.

The current 12VDC 1.5 GPM sheet is a different family, 58XX-7X01-B664. It describes five pumpheads, pressure-switch codes from 30 through 70 psi and a stated 70-psi pressure-switch limit. Its open-flow range is 0.75 to 1.50 gpm.

Both sheets show 3/8-inch compression-open or push-to-connect port choices. Neither lets a reader derive the complete part from “DDP 5800,” 12V or a seller photo. The characters on the physical label decide which family, pumphead and control row apply.

Two current 12V sheets describe different configuration envelopes
Aquatec 12V family sheet Identity fields exposed Published performance scope What it cannot prove
1.0 GPM
58XX-XX01-B744
Four pumpheads; control type; pressure code; two port choices 0.69–0.98 gpm open; 0.37–0.63 gpm at 100 psi across the four pumpheads That seller SKU 326-25-02 uses this family or a specific row
1.5 GPM
58XX-7X01-B664
Five pumpheads; 30–70 psi switch code; two port choices 0.75–1.50 gpm open; 0.50–1.10 gpm at 70 psi across the five pumpheads A 100-psi pressure-switch configuration or the seller’s exact part

This is why a complete-looking part from another water-treatment seller is not a shortcut. A different suffix can change control, ports or motor even when the page title still says DDP 5800.

Open flow and 100 psi are not one point

Open flow describes the high-flow end of a performance table with little discharge pressure. A 100-psi figure may describe a switch setting, a limit or a separate point on a particular pumphead curve. Unless the exact sheet says otherwise, the two numbers do not happen at the same time.

The difference is visible in Aquatec’s own tables. On the 12VDC 1.0 family sheet, the four pumpheads publish 0.69–0.98 gpm open but only 0.37–0.63 gpm at 100 psi. On the 12VDC 1.5 family sheet, the five pumpheads publish 0.75–1.50 gpm open and 0.50–1.10 gpm at 70 psi. Those are family examples, not a curve for the unidentified seller pump.

The test conditions travel with the numbers. Both opened sheets measure performance with a flooded inlet at 0 psi, 70°F ambient and water temperature, and voltage controlled at 12VDC. They also state a 60-psi maximum inlet pressure. A tank outlet, hose, reel, fittings and pole create a different system curve, so the exact route still needs its own required duty point.

Use the site’s garden-hose GPM method only to preserve measured flow at the relevant point and configuration. It does not identify the pump or convert open flow into brush-end output. Put that measured record beside the matched manufacturer row and the lowest documented downstream pressure limit.

Put the label into one stored-water route

Aquatec describes water-pump work broadly: boosting, delivery and transfer, including pressurizing water from an atmospheric tank. The same overview says most models are designed for intermittent duty while some are rated for continuous operation. The application name therefore does not close the duty rating.

This article admits one route: stored water leaves a named tank, enters the exact pump, passes through the controller and protected 12V power arrangement, crosses the reel and pole hose, and reaches the work point. If the job instead starts at a pressurized tap and needs more feed into an RO/DI purifier, use the garden-hose booster-pump decision. That is a different pump position and duty. The complete water-fed pole system guide owns filtration, treatment, delivery and brush-end requirements before either pump class is compared.

Every hydraulic interface still needs its own evidence. Record the tank outlet and venting owner, the pump’s actual inlet and outlet faces, each adapter, hose inside diameter and length, reel, valve and the lowest pressure limit after the pump. The quick-connect guide can close thread, gender, seal and mating family; it cannot make an unidentified pump suitable.

The power side begins with the same complete part. WindowCleaner.com’s current Q&A says its offer is intended to work with a XERO pump controller and must be wired to a source such as a battery. Aquatec’s two 12V tables publish different current draw by pumphead and discharge pressure. A “12V” headline therefore does not supply the design current, duty, conductor, fuse, switch, enclosure or charging plan.

Ask the seller or Aquatec to bind the complete part to the intended controller in writing. Have the responsible electrical or system owner specify the protected power installation for that part and duty. The same answer must cover what happens when the pole valve closes: demand mode, bypass and an external controller are different controls, and 100 psi cannot describe their sequence.

Read the seller’s reply as an evidence match

Send a request that names the missing evidence instead of asking whether “the 5800” will work:

Please send a clear photo of the complete Aquatec label on SKU 326-25-02 and type the manufacturer part number in your reply. Please identify the current Aquatec specification sheet, pumphead, pressure-control type, port configuration and flow/current row that belong to that exact part. I plan to use it after a holding tank with [tank outlet], [controller], [reel and hose route], [required flow at pressure] and [lowest downstream pressure limit]; please state which of those conditions the offer does not cover.

A reply with a readable label, matching sheet and matching seller bundle creates an exact candidate. It still moves to the responsible system and electrical owners for the route-specific pressure, controller and protected-power closure.

A reply naming a different Aquatec part is not a minor substitution. Re-open that part’s sheet and compare its pumphead, pressure control, ports, current and duty from the beginning.

A reply that repeats only 12V, 100 psi, 1.4 gpm or “DDP 5800” has not resolved the offer. Keep the purchase on hold; do not fill the missing label from another listing.
