Sörbo Quadropod Complete Set: Bucket, Height and Route Fit

The checkout line Quadropod is not specific enough to place an order. The current Sörbo complete-set page identifies part 2777A as a bucket-and-stand system. A current J. Racenstein listing uses the same product-family name for MPN 2088, SKU 21-411—and says the bucket is not included. A buyer can therefore receive a genuine Quadropod stand and still be missing the object that holds the water.

Start with the box, then test the route. For a complete-set candidate, require the exact seller SKU, an explicit stand-and-bucket contents statement, the fixed rim height, the bucket’s capacity, and a plan for every doorway and floor transition between storage and the glass. The current pages support a 30.5-inch rim and a three-gallon bucket; they do not publish a universal comfort result, a full working footprint or permission to roll a loaded stand across every surface.

This is one component of a professional window-cleaning equipment plan. It does not decide which washer, squeegee or solution the job requires. It decides whether one elevated bucket assembly can carry an already accepted traditional route.

The same name can put four different objects in the cart

Current pages expose the difference between a family name and an orderable object. Keep the manufacturer part and the selected seller’s SKU in separate fields; do not manufacture a cross-reference that the seller has not confirmed.

Identify the object before comparing height or route fit
Current page Identity on that page What the page says is included Cart consequence
Sörbo complete set SKU 011-12-07-SP; part 2777A Bucket-and-stand system, quick-release bucket locks and tool hooks Use as the first-party complete-set identity; still confirm the selected seller’s contents.
Window Cleaning Resource complete set Seller SKU 011-12-07 Stand and bucket; four tool holders; three-gallon capacity The listing closes its own box contents, not an unstated manufacturer cross-reference.
J. Racenstein rolling stand SKU 21-411; MPN 2088 Stand only; bucket sold separately Do not treat the lower-component offer as the complete set or assume a bucket appears at delivery.
Sörbo replacement bucket SKU 011-12-06-SP; part 2777B Three-gallon bucket, center bar and two locks This is a service object for the system, not evidence that a stand-only cart already includes it.

The complete set, fixed rim height, capacity ceiling, travel direction and service parts are separate buying fields. This illustration is not a scaled dimensional drawing.

There is a useful discipline here: copy what each page owns. Sörbo owns part 2777A on its current complete-set page. WCR owns its seller SKU and its own included-item statement. J. Racenstein owns its stand-only description. None of those lines should be silently combined into a new SKU.

Thirty and a half inches is a fixed rim, not an ergonomic promise

WCR states that the bucket rim is 30.5 inches above the floor. Its current Q&A also says the Quadropod is not height adjustable. The Sörbo page describes automatically retracting legs that open when the center bar reaches the ground; it does not present a telescoping height choice.

That makes the height question measurable before purchase. Mark 30.5 inches on a wall beside the intended work area and compare it with the route’s actual washer-dipping position. The mark cannot predict comfort over a shift, but it can reject a buyer assumption that the bucket can be raised or lowered later. If the fixed rim is wrong for the chosen task, there is no documented adjustment field to rescue the cart.

The rim number also is not the storage envelope. The carrying bar rises above it, the legs and wheels create a wider footprint below it, and the current Sörbo and specialist pages do not publish a complete assembled or folded width, depth, overall height or empty system weight. Ask the selected seller for those dimensions when a door, closet, vehicle opening or tight interior lane depends on them. Do not measure them from a product photo or from the illustration above.

Three gallons is the bucket ceiling, not the route fill

Both the current WCR complete-set page and Sörbo’s current replacement-bucket page state a three-gallon capacity. At the U.S. Geological Survey’s approximate 8.34 pounds per U.S. gallon, three gallons of water alone weigh about 25 pounds. That excludes the bucket, stand, tools and solution.

The decision is not whether the bucket can reach three gallons. It is how much water the indoor segment needs before the next refill, and whether that working fill belongs on this route. The site’s broader window-cleaning bucket guide owns tool-length fit and working-fill load. Bring that chosen fill into the Quadropod decision rather than restarting bucket selection here.

Four tool hooks are also a role count, not a published load rating. The pages do not state a maximum tool weight, name every compatible handle profile or show that a long tool will clear walls and doorways while the stand moves. List the exact tools proposed for the hooks and keep any unverified fit or load outside the purchase claim.

The floor route starts with travel direction

An indoor cart is useful only when its movement rule and the building agree. Sörbo describes legs that deploy automatically as the center bar contacts the floor. WCR says the set works best indoors. J. Racenstein adds a more specific seller instruction: pull the stand with one leg leading, do not push it, and face the bucket spout away from the carrier when lifting the assembly.

Preserve those as seller instructions for the named product, not as a promise that every indoor path is suitable. Walk the proposed route empty and record the places where rolling stops being a simple straight pull.

Make every change of surface or direction visible before the order
Route segment Known product statement Buyer-owned measurement or decision Reason to change course
Smooth interior lane Seller says pull with one leg leading Available turning space, people, furniture and tool overhang The required pull line cannot be kept clear.
Doorway or narrow opening No complete footprint is published in the reviewed pages Narrowest clear width and the seller-confirmed assembled footprint Fit depends on photo scaling or a diagonal guess.
Threshold, rug edge or floor change No transition rating is published in the reviewed pages Exact obstacle and an approved carry, reposition or alternate-container plan The route requires pushing, uncontrolled lifting or an unverified wheel transition.
Stopping position Legs open as the center bar contacts the floor Flat usable floor area around the deployed stand A leg, wheel or tool holder would enter a walkway or contact property.
Stairs or exterior approach The current WCR page emphasizes indoor use Separate transport and water-container plan Neither Sörbo nor the current specialist instructions authorize rolling a loaded set on stairs or a rough exterior path.

A threshold failure does not make the product defective. It means the cart and this building are a poor match. The correct response may be to park the stand inside one zone, carry water in a purpose-specified container, or keep a conventional bucket for that route.

Current service parts make maintenance a separate choice

Sörbo’s current catalog exposes three named service paths instead of forcing the complete set to become disposable. The replacement bucket with center bar and two locks is part 2777B. The pair of replacement locks is part 2093, SKU 011-12-04-SP. The three-wheel replacement set is part 2090, SKU 011-12-03-SP.

Those identities improve serviceability only when they remain tied to the current Sörbo Quadropod. They do not prove fit for an older, modified or differently identified stand, and current availability can change. Save the part numbers with the purchase record, then recheck the live owner page when service is actually needed.

The same boundary applies to missing specifications. The current pages do not provide a tool-hook load rating, a complete system weight, a folded envelope or a wheel-transition rating. A named replacement wheel cannot fill those gaps. Ask the manufacturer or selected seller when one of them controls the route; otherwise mark the field unknown and compare another cart.

Let one marked floor plan decide the purchase

Before checkout, put the seller’s exact offer at the top of a simple floor sketch. Under it, write whether the box contains the stand and bucket, the confirmed part or seller SKU, 30.5-inch fixed rim, chosen working fill, narrowest opening, each threshold, intended pull direction, storage envelope and the three current service-part identities. Leave unsupported dimensions blank.

Keep the complete set as a candidate when its contents are explicit and the fixed-height assembly has a clear indoor route. Correct the cart when the seller is offering only MPN 2088 or another stand-only object. Choose a conventional bucket or another cart when a doorway, transition, storage position or working fill defeats the route. If the decision still depends on an unpublished footprint, weight, hook load or compatibility claim, hold the order until the responsible owner answers it.

The Sörbo Quadropod earns its place by fitting one real floor plan. The family name, three-gallon number and elevated bucket photo are useful clues; none is the completed decision.
