Part BB010 should be easy to describe. UNGER’s current US page says the black ErgoTec Ninja Bucket on a Belt holds up to two squeegees, one washer, one scraper and about 0.75 liters of cleaning solution. A current Window Cleaning Resource listing names the same manufacturer part number and the same tools—but gives the liquid capacity as one-half quart.
That is not one tidy specification repeated by two sellers. Treat 0.75 liters as the current manufacturer-published figure, and flag the one-half-quart merchant wording if liquid capacity matters to the order. Neither number proves how much solution remains practical after your exact tools occupy the holder.
The product question is therefore narrower than a complete professional window-cleaning tool plan. Decide whether BB010 owns the wet-tool position for tools you have already selected. A nominal slot count cannot select those tools for you, and a “ladder” use case on a product page does not approve work at height.
One BB010, two published liquid figures
The current US product page closes the basic identity: BB010, UPC 761475612104, black plastic, with a quick-release strap and a design for either right- or left-side use. It also lists the two-squeegee, one-washer, one-scraper load and approximately 0.75 liters of solution.
The current WCR page closes a different part of the cart. It says the belt and tools are not included and describes a rubber protector insert. But its one-half-quart liquid figure does not match the current manufacturer page. If you expect the holder to serve as a meaningful route-side reservoir, ask the selected seller or UNGER to resolve that line before ordering. If you only need enough liquid to park wet tools between a nearby main bucket and the glass, record that smaller job instead of turning either published maximum into a refill promise.

This distinction matters because tools and liquid share the same object. The tool count says which roles the holder is designed to accept. The liquid figure is a nominal product claim. Your route still supplies the exact profiles, the simultaneous arrangement and the amount of solution you actually need at your hip.
The shell measurements do not measure the slots
UNGER publishes exterior dimensions of 12.7 by 4.6 by 4.1 inches and an empty weight of 0.6 pound for BB010. Those are useful for storage and for recognizing the current product. They do not disclose each slot opening, slot depth or the clearance around a handle, channel end or washer sleeve.
A channel can therefore be shorter than the 12.7-inch body and still sit badly because the handle or end geometry meets the divider. The same problem runs in reverse: a broad “two squeegees” claim can describe role capacity without naming every handle and channel pairing that will seat, stay separated and come back out in the intended order.
If the squeegee assembly is not already fixed, close the Unger handle, channel and release path first. BB010 should receive an exact tool profile, not become the reason to buy a different squeegee by accident.
Put the current claims beside your actual load
Complete this card with the exact items that would occupy the holder at the same time. A manufacturer claim goes in the second column; the order stays open until the third column is equally specific.
| Admission field | What current pages close | What your purchase record must add | Result if it stays open |
|---|---|---|---|
| Product identity | UNGER part BB010; black plastic; UPC 761475612104 | Selected offer also names BB010 and states what is included | Hold a differently named, bundled or old product |
| Squeegee positions | Up to two squeegees | Exact handle, channel family and width for position one and, only if needed, position two | Reduce the load or require a seller-confirmed fit |
| Washer position | One washer | Exact T-bar, sleeve and wet profile that must enter beside both squeegees | Change the arrangement or holder |
| Scraper position | One scraper | Exact scraper and its protected state; do not substitute an open blade | Keep the scraper out of this cart until its owner is clear |
| Protector insert | Current 2025 UNGER catalog says BB010 includes an insert for optimum squeegee compatibility | Insert is present in the selected offer and installed in the intended orientation | Confirm the offer or treat profile fit as open |
| Liquid | Current manufacturer page says approximately 0.75 L; current WCR page says one-half quart | Actual route-side amount needed and written resolution if the difference affects the route | Use a nearby main bucket, choose another holder or hold the order |
| Belt and side | Quick-release strap; current owner says right- or left-side use | Exact belt and attachment, chosen side and interaction with the rest of the waist load | Return to the complete belt layout before purchase |
| Simultaneous arrangement | Named role count only | Every intended tool seated together during an empty, dry, ground-level fit | Nominal capacity remains unproved for this load |
Read the table across. “Two squeegees” is not a command to carry two. If the second one has no route job, removing it is a successful result. If it is necessary but collides with the washer or divider, the holder—not the tool list—has failed this particular cart.
The protector insert is part of the fit question
The current 2025 UNGER catalog says BB010 includes a protector insert for optimum squeegee compatibility. WCR describes it as keeping rubber blades from contacting the plastic divider and improving channel fit. J. Racenstein’s current page describes the black version as having enlarged slots intended to accommodate Ninja squeegees.
Together, those statements explain why a bare shell is not the full compatibility object. The part number, insert and exact tools belong in the same line. They do not prove that every third-party profile fits, and they do not let a merchant’s broad compatibility answer override the absence of published slot geometry.
Before relying on an offer, confirm three things in this order:
- The offer is BB010, not a generic BOAB or the Classic BB020.
- The protector insert is included; the selected listing should say so or the seller should answer in writing.
- The belt, squeegees, washer and scraper are separate line items unless the exact offer explicitly includes them.
That sequence prevents a product photo from silently filling the cart. It also keeps a missing insert from being discovered only after the buyer has treated the stated tool count as guaranteed fit.
A dry fit can reject a cart, not approve work at height
Documentation can narrow the choice, but it cannot report how your loaded arrangement behaves. Keep the remaining observation on the ground, without liquid. Seat the exact tools together, attach the holder to the exact belt, place it on the intended side, and remove and return the tools in the sequence the route requires.
Look for a simple failure, not a performance score: a handle that will not seat, a channel that contacts the divider, an insert that shifts, a tool that has to be pulled through another tool, or an attachment that does not close as expected. One specialist-page review reports a squeegee falling when the washer was removed; that is one purchaser’s report, not proof of a general defect, but it is a useful interaction to include in your own fit observation.
Passing this narrow observation means only that the empty, dry arrangement did not expose that problem on the ground. It does not establish comfort over a shift, liquid retention, durability, ladder suitability or safe high-rise use. Those decisions retain their own equipment, employer and work-method owners.
Write the receipt line before the order
The order is reconstructable when one line can name: UNGER BB010 / current black model / protector insert present / squeegee 1 / squeegee 2 or NONE / washer / scraper or NONE / exact belt attachment / chosen side / required solution amount / current capacity conflict resolved or not material.
- Keep BB010 as the candidate when every required item has a named position, the selected offer includes the holder and insert you expect, and the liquid difference does not leave the route short.
- Reduce the carried load when a second tool is reserve stock rather than a waist-level requirement.
- Choose another holder when a necessary profile, attachment or liquid job cannot be closed without changing tools that already fit the work.
- Hold the order when the seller cannot resolve current part identity, insert contents or a capacity difference that matters to the route.
Once that line is complete, place BB010 into the full window-cleaning tool-belt layout so wet tools, dry cloths, edged items and the belt itself still have compatible owners. The holder has earned one job in the rig; it has not become the rig.
