Ettore Mighty Window Washer names a family, not a finished order. The current family has three washer sizes, three assembly part numbers and three replacement-sleeve part numbers. The route adds another decision: hand use or a documented extension-pole connection.
Start by pairing the size and part numbers. Then check the nominal width against the narrowest glass you actually clean, the bucket opening, the storage position and any pole interface. A larger head is not automatically the faster or more useful choice if it cannot lie flat on the pane or fit the rest of the route.
The current pairing is 50010 with sleeve 52010, 50014 with 52014, and 50018 with 52018. Treat that as a dated product record, not a permanent naming rule. Recheck the selected options on Ettore’s current pages before checkout.
Start with the part-number pair
The current Ettore Mighty selector offers 10-, 14- and 18-inch assemblies. Its current product data maps those sizes to 50010, 50014 and 50018. The replacement-sleeve selector uses the same three nominal widths but different SKUs: 52010, 52014 and 52018.

Ettore says the microfiber sleeve is removable and machine washable, names all three sizes and places the tool before the squeegee step. Its sleeve page also offers 10, 14 and 18, but the replacement is a separate product and the T-bar is not included.
Do not let a merchant’s family code replace the manufacturer line. J. Racenstein currently groups all three sizes under seller SKU E15M, while Home Depot’s exact 14-inch page identifies model 50014. Both can be useful listing evidence. Neither makes E15M and 50014 the same type of identifier.
Let the narrowest glass reject a size
Measure the usable glass lane, not the outside frame. Record the narrowest pane or section the washer must cover and note handles, bars, deep stops or other obstacles that reduce the area where the sleeve can lie flat. Nominal head width is the selection label; it is not a published clearance allowance.
The useful question is not “How wide are most of my windows?” It is “What is the narrowest recurring glass lane this washer must clean without riding the frame or obstacle?” A route dominated by broad storefront panes may accept a different line than a route with small divided residential glass. One property can contain both.
Keep the choice provisional until the exact assembly also passes the rest of the route:

The measurement does not choose a size by itself. It rejects sizes that cannot serve the recurring work. Among the remaining sizes, choose from the jobs, bucket and handling plan you can actually document rather than an unsupported productivity estimate.
A replacement sleeve is a second product
The complete Mighty assembly and the Mighty replacement sleeve are not interchangeable descriptions. The replacement page expressly says the T-bar is not included. If you are buying a spare for a 14-inch assembly, the useful cart line is 50014 assembly + 52014 sleeve, not “14-inch microfiber washer” twice.
The current replacement page also says the sleeve fits compatible Ettore T-bars, giving ProGrip and Pro+ as examples. That statement may widen the sleeve’s documented use; it does not turn every same-width cover or T-bar into a Mighty replacement. Keep the exact selected sleeve SKU and the exact assembly on the same record.
Washer width also does not have to equal squeegee width as a universal rule. Ettore’s current Professional Window Cleaning Kit pairs a 10-inch Mighty washer with a 12-inch Original squeegee. That exact kit disproves a forced one-to-one width rule, but it does not establish a best pairing for every operator. The washer applies and agitates solution; the squeegee removes it. Choose each tool for its own glass, handling and replacement path.
This is where the broader window-cleaning starter-kit audit remains useful. It can expose a missing squeegee, towel, soap or replacement item. It should not overwrite the exact Mighty part-number pair.
Keep pole use inside the documented Ettore route
Ettore’s current Mighty page says the washer works with Ettore extension poles. The current REA-C-H Extension Pole page describes a click-lock tip that secures compatible Ettore tools such as washers and squeegees. Together, those pages support a same-brand route.
They do not prove an unnamed pole, a historic tip or a cross-brand handle. If the cart includes a pole, write its exact family and variant beside the washer and confirm the retained connection on current documentation. A cone that looks similar or a seller’s “universal” label is not the same as a click-lock claim for named parts.

The Mighty is also a traditional washer: the manufacturer places it before squeegeeing after it has been dipped in a bucket of cleaning solution. A pole connection does not convert it into a water-fed brush or give it a filtration, hose or rinse path.
Make the washer fit the bucket and the day
The selected tool must enter the wet workflow and leave it without turning a clean spare into a dirty one. Measure the bucket’s usable opening with any sieve, lid or tool holder in the position you plan to use. Give the wet assembly, the clean replacement sleeve and the drying sleeve different states. A spare sealed in its package is not the same thing as a washed sleeve that still needs to dry. Ettore says the sleeve is machine washable and reusable, but the public product page reviewed here does not publish a wash temperature, detergent dose or dryer setting. Do not invent one.
